1. GENERAL TERMS

1.1. These Ski Slope Usage Agreement Terms define the terms of use and access to the “Mežezers” slope and the adjacent territory (hereinafter referred to as the “Slope”), as well as the rights and obligations of its users. The Slope includes an area designated for skiing and snowboarding, including the downhill zone and ski lifts (see the map), which is specifically intended for downhill skiing or snowboarding.

1.2. The legal relationship between the Slope user (hereinafter referred to as the “User”) and the owner (hereinafter referred to as the “Owner”) is governed by this agreement. This agreement is concluded when a person purchases a ski lift and slope usage ticket or otherwise lawfully obtains the Owner’s permission or approval to use the Slope (hereinafter referred to as the “Ticket”).

1.3. The Owner grants permission to the User to use the Slope only in accordance with the terms of this Agreement.

1.4. Only individuals who have purchased a valid Ticket from the base ticket offices or personnel are permitted to use the Slope. Persons who have not obtained the Owner’s permission or do not possess a valid Ticket are not entitled to use the Slope.

1.5. These terms do not constitute an offer from the Owner. The act of purchasing a Ticket from the Owner or its authorized personnel is considered an offer to enter into an Agreement based on these terms. The issuance of the Ticket by the Owner or its authorized personnel is considered an acceptance of the offer. The Owner or its authorized personnel are not obligated to accept the offer. These terms or any other circumstances cannot be considered a guarantee that the offer will be accepted.

1.6. The obligations of the User and the rights of the Owner as stipulated in this Agreement also apply to individuals who use the Slope without a Ticket, with an invalid Ticket, before purchasing a Ticket, or after its validity expires. By using the Slope, the person accepts the terms of this Agreement as binding.

1.7. The right to use the Slope is granted to individuals who are at least 12 years old. Minors under 12 years of age may use the Slope only under the direct supervision of an adult.

1.8. Dogs and other animals are prohibited on the Slope, regardless of whether they are leashed or muzzled.

2. AGREEMENT DURATION

2.1. A person who purchases a Ticket is considered a “User” under this Agreement and is bound by its terms and obligations.

2.2. The User has the right to use the Slope only during the validity period of this Agreement.

2.3. The Agreement expires, and the right to use the Slope terminates when the time or number of descents indicated on the Ticket expires.

2.4. The Agreement also terminates if the User’s Ticket is canceled due to non-compliance with the terms of this Agreement.

3. EQUIPMENT

3.1. This Agreement grants the User the right to use the Slope for downhill skiing or snowboarding with equipment specifically designed for this purpose, equipped with appropriate bindings (hereinafter referred to as “Equipment”).

3.2. Only properly maintained Equipment is allowed on the Slope to prevent accidents. Users must ensure their Equipment is in good condition. If in doubt, they should seek advice from the rental specialists.

3.3. Snowboards must be equipped with a safety leash attached to the board and the User’s leg. Ski bindings must have brakes. Ski poles must have protective baskets at the bottom.

3.4. These Agreement terms apply to all Users, whether they use their own Equipment or rent it from the Owner or a third party.

3.5. The use of sleds, plastic sheets, cross-country skis, and similar items is prohibited on the Slope.

4. USER RESPONSIBILITIES

4.1. The User may only ski or snowboard in designated areas at a safe distance from the ski lift path.

4.2. The User must follow the rules of this Agreement, signage, and the instructions of Slope personnel.

4.3. Users are prohibited from using the Slope while under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or psychoactive substances.

4.4. The User must ensure their Equipment is in good condition before each descent.

4.5. Walking in the downhill or lift zone is prohibited unless retrieving lost Equipment or assisting an injured person.

4.6. Unjustified stopping or sitting in the downhill zone or lift path is prohibited unless due to a fall, Equipment defect, or aiding another User.

4.7. The User assumes full responsibility for their health and safety on the Slope and must not exceed their skill level or endanger others.

4.8. The User waives any claims against the Owner for injuries or damages incurred on the Slope due to rule violations.

4.9. The “Snowboard Park” section is restricted to experienced users. Skiers must wear helmets and be at least 16 years old. Personnel may prohibit entry if safety is at risk.

5. DESCENT RULES

5.1. Before starting a descent, the User must ensure they do not endanger themselves or others.

5.2. Users must assess the snow conditions and the presence of others before descending.

5.3. Users may overtake others only if sufficient space is left for safe maneuvering.

5.4. Users must maintain a safe distance from those ahead and avoid collisions. The upper-positioned skier is responsible for avoiding accidents.

5.5. Users must adjust speed to avoid collisions in blind spots.

5.6. The lift path boundary must not be crossed.

5.7. Users must assist accident victims and report incidents to Slope personnel.

6. SKI LIFT USAGE RULES

6.1. Users must observe the queue system and may not bypass it.

6.2. Boarding and disembarking are permitted only in designated areas.

6.3. Users unfamiliar with lift use must inform Slope personnel for assistance.

6.4. Clothing should be properly fastened to prevent entanglement with lift components.

6.5. Skiers must remove pole straps, keeping poles in the outer hand. Snowboarders must detach one foot from the binding.

6.6. Users must stand a safe distance from the lift cable line to avoid injury.

6.7. Users must grab the lift bar and position it correctly.
